The Opportunity

We are seeking a Customer Technical Lead (CTL) to join our Network & Security practice area in a permanent position. This role is a primary technical point of contact, requiring a blend of deep networking expertise, strong technical leadership, and excellent customer relationship management skills.

The CTL is critical in ensuring the seamless delivery and ongoing management of networking services for our allocated customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance and technical expertise to Professional and Managed Services teams.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor, understanding the customer's business needs and aligning networking solutions to achieve their strategic objectives.

  • Network Design & Optimization: Conduct audits and assessments of customer networks to identify improvements, oversee implementation of projects, and perform configuration/troubleshooting activities to enhance resilience and performance.

  • Complex Incident Resolution: Respond to and resolve complex network incidents and service requests.

  • Documentation & Governance: Ensure all technical documentation, standards, and device lifecycle status (software/vulnerabilities) are accurate and maintained.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive Networking Experience: Strong, hands-on experience in network design, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching).

  • Certifications (Highly Desirable): Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.

  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with proven experience guiding and mentoring technical teams. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Customer Focus: Proven experience in customer relationship management, ensuring satisfaction and commercial understanding.

  • Other: Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
