Full Stack Developer with a leading banking client (consulting through FinXL)

FinXL is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading banking client on a 12 months contract in Sydney.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality backend services using Java and Python.
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using UI frameworks.
• Deploy and productionize applications within Kubernetes environments.
• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures and API integrations.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure leveraging various AWS services.

Key Skills & Experience

• 8 years of experience in backend development with Java and Python.
• Proven hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes deployments and orchestration.
• Strong technical knowledge of AWS (S3, EC2, EKS, API Gateway, Route 53).
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines and utilizing Docker.
• Solid understanding of Agile processes and microservices architecture.
• Collaborative mindset with a strong desire to take ownership of delivery.

Engagement Details

• 12 months contract with a banking client.
• Hybrid working with an office in Sydney CBD.
