FinXL is seeking a Java Developer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading banking client on a key transformation engagement.

• Modernise legacy Java applications including Spring Boot and Apache Tomcat.

• Analyse and refactor application configurations, deployment scripts, and services.

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Artifactory.

• Integrate and maintain AppDynamics for real-time JVM performance monitoring.

• Document migration steps, rollback procedures, and test cases in Confluence.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to configure firewalls, TLS, and DNS.

• Support functional and integration testing during infrastructure transitions.

• Minimum 7+ years of experience with Java (8+), Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.

• Proven track record in migrating or modernizing legacy Java applications.

• Experience deploying applications using Embedded Tomcat in Linux VM environments.

• Hands-on experience integrating with IBM MQ for enterprise messaging.

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure components including TLS, firewalls, and DNS.

• Proficiency in Linux environments, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

• Experience working in DevOps-driven environments with CI/CD pipelines.
