FinXL is seeking a Network / Devops Engineer (NetOps) - Immediate Start - Long term Contract to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design processes and build automation for software updates to Cisco and F5 products.

• Provide technical input into Low-level detailed designs and implementation plans for automation.

• Contribute to the design and implementation of the Bank's automation platform.

• Facilitate the stream's change controls and implementation scheduling in accordance with ITIL.

• Communicate effectively within the wider project to provide horizontal timeline updates.

• Engage with vendors and partner stakeholders supporting the Core Modernisation delivery.

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience with F5 Application Delivery Controllers.

• Extensive experience with Python and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Extensive experience in data centre networks, including switching, routing, and Cisco ACI technologies.

• Extensive experience with on-prem firewall platforms (Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto).

• Experience and understanding of CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps Services).

• Experience and understanding of Infrastructure orchestration tools (Terraform or Ansible).

• Familiarity with the ITIL framework.
