At present, we are looking for a Performance Tester to join our market leading client.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform performance test impact assessment reviewing non-functional requirements and solution design.
• Execute and manage performance test lifecycle end 2 end from test planning to test completion report.
• Conduct performance testing to assess system behaviour under various conditions.
• Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for optimization.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement performance enhancements.
• Monitor system performance in production environments and proactively address issues.
• Perform workload modelling and capacity planning to ensure systems can handle expected loads and growth.
• Investigate and resolve performance-related incidents and outages.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in performance engineering

Skills & experience required:

• Proven experience in performance engineering and testing.
• Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, or similar.
• Knowledge of software architecture and distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and self-starter with thought leadership.
• Telecommunications industry experience a bonus.
