Job description

FinXL IT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at a leading insurance organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering the project, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initial analysis and requirements gathering, through to delivery, testing, and change management. You will work closely with both technology and operational teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

As a Project Manager, you will guide cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, and ensure that key stakeholders are engaged throughout the process, driving successful outcomes for both business and technical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of projects, including analysis, scope definition, requirements gathering, delivery, testing, and change management
  • Oversee project timelines, ensuring that all deliverables are met according to schedule and within budget
  • Collaborate with technology and operational teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Drive the testing process and ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
  • Manage change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and implementation of new systems or processes
  • Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage project risks and issues proactively
  • Ensure clear and concise documentation of project requirements, progress, and outcomes
  • Ensure projects are aligned with business goals, maintaining a focus on value delivery and measurable results

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with general insurance experience
  • Strong experience in managing end-to-end project delivery, including analysis, requirements gathering, delivery, testing, and change management
  • Experience working with both technology and operational teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and manage expectations
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to manage project risks, timelines, and resources effectively
  • Experience in managing change management initiatives and ensuring smooth project transitions
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus
