Leading Banking client (consulting through FinXL)

FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors.

FinXL is seeking a Test Lead to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading banking client on a key transformation engagement. FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Define and assess the testing scope for impacted components within the Banking domain

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end testing lifecycle across multiple affected workstreams

  • Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive test plans, including functional and non-functional testing

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage testing activities to ensure migrated applications are ready for migration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to align testing with program milestones

  • Review test deliverables to ensure they align with objectives and adhere to quality standards

  • Manage defect triage, risk assessments, and ensure test readiness across all environments

Key Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience planning and executing functional and non-functional testing on migration projects

  • Extensive experience working as a Test Lead on large infrastructure and migration implementation programs

  • Strong experience developing test documents such as Test Plans and Test Summary Reports from scratch

  • Experience with functional (SIT/UAT) and non-functional test plans including performance and disaster recovery

  • Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA and QMetry

  • Experience with SWIFT NPP/PAG, Azure ExpressRoute, Content Platform, or Sterling is desirable

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence, and partner effectively with key stakeholders
