The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Project Reporting Analyst for a 6-month engagement in Melbourne. This pivotal role supports a major digital service transformation project and acts as the critical link between technical delivery and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Executive Governance Reporting: Prepare, consolidate, and deliver accurate program and project governance reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for the Program Board and senior stakeholders.

• Data-Driven Analysis: Develop and maintain reporting templates and KPIs (JIRA, MS Project, Power BI) to monitor performance (scope, schedule, budget) and provide clear assessment and recommendations.

• Project Enablement: Support the Program Director by coordinating inputs, tracking action items, and maintaining the central repository of project documents and decisions.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the reporting process, tools, and project governance frameworks for greater efficiency and transparency.

• Change Readiness Support: Assist in identifying and mitigating risks related to change readiness and adoption of new service delivery models.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in project governance, reporting, or enablement roles, preferably within transformation or digital initiatives.

• Executive Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex technical and delivery status information for executive audiences.

• Tools Proficiency (Mandatory): Strong practical experience with JIRA, MS Project, and Power BI for tracking, analysis, and dashboard development.

• Governance & Methodology: Strong knowledge of project governance, service management frameworks, and project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

• Location: Must be based in Melbourne, VIC.
