Leading Telco client (consulting through FinXL)

FinXL is seeking a Senior AWS Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telco client on a key migration project.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design AWS cloud foundations to industry and security standards.
• Define and execute cloud technology strategies and strategic roadmaps.
• Create reusable patterns and blueprints for the Cloud Service Catalogue.
• Lead high-visibility transformation projects that are technically broad and deep.
• Conduct application portfolio analysis and feasibility for cloud migrations.
• Develop design, provisioning, and operational procedures for run teams.
• Provide expert consultancy and technical guidance to various project teams.

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience across AWS including design, build and operations.
• Hands-on experience working on large cloud migration projects.
• Deep technical knowledge in Cloud Security best practices.
• Broad experience in networking technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Shell.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with executive and technical audiences.

Engagement Details

• 6+ months contract with a leading Telco client
• Hybrid working with office in North Sydney, NSW
