FinXL is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Business Insurance client on a key transformation engagement.

• Leading and executing comprehensive requirements gathering, analysis, and detailed documentation for system enhancements

• Act as the primary interface between the business, tech teams, and external technology vendors

• Plan, organise, and execute strong workshop facilitation sessions to elicit information and drive consensus

• Collaborate closely with the Change Manager to support and execute business change readiness activities

• Maintain documentation and process flows effectively using tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and SharePoint

• Operate comfortably within an Agile framework, embracing ambiguity and adapting quickly to evolving priorities

• Experienced end-to-end functional Senior Business Analyst, with extensive commercial/business insurance domain experience is essential (professional indemnity, liability, etc.)

• Familiarity with core insurance technology platforms (e.g., Vero Edge, SCTP, Sunrise)

• Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills

• Proven ability to work comfortably with ambiguity and lead teams through complex problem space.

• Initial 12-month contract with extension view

• Located in Melbourne CBD, and hybrid working arrangement (2-3 days in the office)

• Lead transformation on a key insurance platform

• Consulting role with a leading insurance client
