Senior Business Analyst

FinXL is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Insurance client on a key regulatory data transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

• Create current-state and future-state process models at an enterprise level.

• Facilitate workshops for discovery, ideation, and requirements gathering.

• Develop problem statements and business objectives to justify change.

• Prepare and present high-quality decision support materials, including options and trade-off analysis, to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

• Support delivery teams with clarified requirements and walkthrough materials.

• Assist with impact assessments covering systems, risk, and compliance.

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst.

• Proven experience in Financial Services, ideally within General Insurance.

• Strong background in Risk and Regulatory projects.

• Expertise in business and technical transformation and process re-design.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex business needs clearly to both technical teams and non-technical senior leaders.

• Effective problem solver capable of driving pathways through ambiguity.

• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills for large groups.

• Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, or specialized BA tools) to enhance delivery speed and quality is highly beneficial.
