FinXL IT is on the lookout for a Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team and work with a leading financial services organisation on high-impact initiatives in Capital Markets, Wholesale Banking, and Private Equity/Credit.

We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst who thrives at the intersection of data, business process, and financial products, with the ability to dive into SQL-based data analysis and shape solutions that deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to gather and define business and data requirements across Capital and Wholesale banking domains.
  
• Analyse large and complex data sets using SQL to support reporting, insights, and decision-making.
  
• Support initiatives in Private Equity and Private Credit operations, focusing on deal lifecycle, investor reporting, and risk.
  
• Document business processes, data flows, and functional requirements using industry-standard tools and techniques.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Technology, Risk, and Compliance to deliver impactful solutions.
  

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience as a Senior Business Analyst within financial services, ideally across Capital and Wholesale banking.
  
• Proven experience working in Private Equity or Private Credit environments.
  
• SQL skills - understaning complex queries, analyse trends, and support reporting requirements.
  
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  
• Familiarity with front-to-back office processes in financial institutions is a strong plus.
