Senior Business Analyst - Network Upgrades & Infrastructure Projects
Contract Length: 12 Months
Clearance Required: Baseline (NV1 or NV2 highly regarded)
Location: Flexible (Australia)
A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a critical initiative delivering network infrastructure upgrades and refresh programs for a major federal government client. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of infrastructure and network engineering, rather than application-focused project experience.
About the Role
In this position, you will work across a cross-functional delivery team to:
Capture and translate complex infrastructure requirements across network upgrades and refreshes.
Lead stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering across engineering, architecture, and operational teams.
Develop documentation including as-is/to-be process mapping, functional specifications, risk assessments, and change impact analysis.
Facilitate workshops to align technical and business needs within a secure, large-scale enterprise environment.
What We're Looking For
5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, with proven experience in infrastructure or network-related projects.
Strong understanding of enterprise network environments (e.g., WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, data centres, cloud networking).
Experience in government or highly regulated environments.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-friendly team.
Active Baseline Security Clearance required; NV1 or NV2 highly regarded.
Previous experience supporting telecommunications or infrastructure clients is advantageous.
Why Apply
Contribute to high-impact national programs in a secure and stable environment.
Join a forward-thinking delivery team working on next-generation infrastructure solutions.
Enjoy flexible working arrangements and long-term project stability.
