FinXL is seeking a Senior Data Integration Engineer - Level 5 to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading organisation. The Senior Data Integration Engineer - Level 5 will lead the data integration piece to design & deliver event-driven architectures.

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience in Senior Data Integration Engineering - Level 5
• Experience driving the evolution of data integration capabilities to enable event-driven data architectures.
• Experience in Real-Time Architecture: Designing and deploying event-driven integration patterns to enable near-instantaneous data responses across platforms.
• Experience in Streaming & Messaging: Serving as the subject matter expert for Confluent Kafka, managing complex message schemas and ensuring seamless stream processing.
• Experience in Technical Leadership: Acting as a Level 5 senior contributor, providing architectural guidance, conducting deep-dive code reviews and mentoring junior engineers. You will be responsible for authoring options papers to the Architecture Board and articulating the benefits to senior non-technical sponsors.
• Experience in Documentation & Governance: Maintaining technical documentation & architectural diagrams within Confluence to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing
• Experience in Confluence to document technical designs and operational playbooks.
• Financial services industry experience would be an advantage
