FinXL IT is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telecommunications client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document requirements for the mis-selling detection and monitoring project

• Support the creation of risk-decisioning models to strengthen consumer protection

• Drive improvement in compliance, early detection, and root cause analysis

• Define and document risk metric reporting to identify patterns of sales misconduct

• Work within a compliance and regulatory project environment on business-critical systems

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document business and data requirements

• Produce high-quality documentation adhering to regulatory compliance and audit standards

Key Skills & Experience

• An end-to-end Senior Business Analyst, with experience working in CMS, consumer protection OR customer complaints handling related projects

• Proven experience in a compliance and regulatory project environments

• Experience in defining business strategy or strategic roadmaps

• Experience in data-driven projects (CRM/PEGA data flows, unified data platforms)

• Experience enabling compliance reporting from existing workflow tools

• Proficiency in project management tools including Jira, Confluence, and Visio/Signavio

What's On Offer?

• Initial 6 months contract, with a view to extend on a multi-year transformation project
• Located in Sydney
• Hybrid work mode - 3 days a week in the office but highly desirable if you're open to going in 4 days a week.
