Job description
Senior Quality Engineer
Quality Engineers are responsible for the quality aspect in delivery of digital products and services across multiple platforms and systems.
In this role you'll be working as part of an agile squad, guiding engineers towards continuous delivery and quality best practice.
- Location: North Sydney
- Duration: 12+ Months contract
- Identifying, highlighting and implementing quality improvements
- Setting directions for quality tooling and strategy
- Coding alongside engineers, deploying to test and production environments
- Strong focus on code review and peer testing
- Understand and apply sufficient observability practices
- Providing mentorship to other engineers, instilling a strong focus on security and quality
- Proven engineering skills, having delivered quality tools and outcomes for multiple complex systems
- Experience in React, Go, AWS, Kubernetes and/or Apache Kafka
- Ability to utilise your subject matter expertise in technology and automation skills (full stack)
- Previously coached other engineers in the squad,
- Quality engineering best practices and has transformed quality posture using technical expertise and collaboration skills
- Strong DevOps knowledge
