FinXL is on the lookout for a highly skilled AWS Data Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to a significant data migration project at a leading banking client in the heart of Sydney CBD.

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in a transformative data migration initiative, transitioning from Cloudera to AWS.
• Architect, develop, and implement a robust and efficient data migration plan.
• Leverage your expertise to automate data migration processes, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Collaborate closely with diverse cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Skills and experience

• Demonstrable and extensive experience working with AWS Glue.
• Proven expertise in the successful execution of complex data migration projects.
• Deep proficiency across a range of AWS services, including S3, Redshift, and Athena, coupled with strong knowledge of various data integration tools.
• In-depth command of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and YAML.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration.
