FinXL is seeking a Onsite Desktop Support Engineer to join our front-line Infrastructure delivery team. This project is managed by FinXL, where you will be deployed onsite at a leading client's hospital sites on a Windows 11 operating system updates, via USB imaging. This is an onsite role requiring you to work 5 days per week across an Sydney Eastern Suburb location.

Responsibilities

  • Join our front-line Infrastructure delivery team for project-based work.

  • Execute manual Windows 11 operating system updates via USB imaging.

  • Deliver onsite technical support and deployments within a hospital setting.

  • Act as a Level 2/3 escalation point for the Service Desk.

  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware and connectivity issues.

  • Deploy, configure, and install new desktops, laptops, and workstations.

  • Create and update technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working within a hospital or health environment.

  • Proven experience performing manual Windows operating system updates.

  • Hands-on experience with USB-based system imaging (non-SCCM).

  • Strong hardware troubleshooting skills for PCs and peripherals.

  • Experience managing tickets within an ITSM tool (e.g. ServiceNow).

  • Technical proficiency in supporting the Microsoft 365 suite.

  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week across multiple Sydney sites.
