Business Analyst - Billing Project
Location: Macquarie Park, NSW (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)
Contract Type: 12-Month Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a key Billing Transformation Project with one of Australia's leading telecommunications companies. This role will focus on enhancing billing accuracy and visibility for enterprise customers by analysing and streamlining complex billing systems and processes.

You will work closely with stakeholders across finance, operations, and technology teams to identify gaps in the current billing process and help design and implement improvements to ensure a more efficient and accurate billing framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and document current billing processes and systems

• Work with cross-functional teams to gather and validate business and functional requirements

• Identify inefficiencies and gaps in billing operations and propose process improvements

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams

• Support the development and implementation of streamlined billing solutions

• Ensure billing data integrity and consistency across systems

• Participate in UAT and support change management and training as needed

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on financial or billing systems

• Strong understanding of enterprise billing processes, preferably within the telecommunications or utilities sectors

• Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis

• Ability to work across multiple systems and manage complex stakeholder relationships

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Desirable:

• Previous experience working on billing transformation or remediation projects

• Familiarity with large-scale enterprise environments and legacy billing systems
