Enablement Manager (PMO Lead)
Role Type: 6-Month Contract (Initial)
Location: Melbourne CBD (Hybrid - 2-3 anchor days per week)
Are you a proactive PMO Lead or Enablement Manager who excels at unblocking delivery teams and driving operational excellence?
FinXL are seeking a high-caliber professional to join a strategic transformation program on an initial 6-month contract. In this role, you will act as the operational backbone for the Program Director and Delivery Program Manager, ensuring that procurement, recruitment, and financial governance are seamlessly managed to allow for successful project launches.
The Role
As the Enablement Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic objectives by enhancing operational efficiencies. You will be responsible for the "behind-the-scenes" machinery that makes delivery possible-from managing complex vendor relationships to reconciling budgets and facilitating the transition from pre-discovery to active implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Project Implementation & Unblocking: Collaborate closely with the Delivery Program Manager to facilitate pre-discovery tasks, removing roadblocks to ensure new initiatives launch on time.
Recruitment & Talent Support: Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure timely and efficient hiring aligned with fluctuating project requirements.
Vendor & Contract Management: Manage and negotiate contracts with vendors and partners; develop strong relationships to ensure all contractual obligations and performance standards are met.
Procurement Oversight: Lead procurement processes to ensure cost-effective purchasing and supply chain management in alignment with program goals.
Financial Governance: Oversee timesheet reconciliation for accurate billing/payroll and manage project budgets, including detailed forecasting and variance analysis.
Performance Reporting: Prepare and deliver high-level reports on project budgets, performance metrics, and key indicators for executive stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency within the PMO and broader delivery teams.

Operational All-Rounder: You are equally comfortable negotiating a vendor contract as you are performing a deep-dive budget reconciliation.

Detail-Oriented: You take pride in accuracy, particularly regarding financial reporting, contract compliance, and resource management.
