FinXL is seeking a Security Engineer - Sentinel One with NV1 to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telco client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

• Finalize the detailed design for EDR and Application Control and implement across Linux, Windows servers, and Kubernetes environments.
• Guide the client on transitioning Application Control from observer to enforcement mode.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct handover training.
• Address captured defects and provide support for related issues.
• Contribute to the design of break-glass accounts and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Facilitate the privileged user onboarding process and policy development.

Key Skills & Experience

• NV1 clearance required.
• Proven experience in EDR and Application Control technologies (e.g., Sentinel One).
• Strong knowledge of security configuration across Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes environments.
• Practical experience with compliance standards like ISM and Essential 8.
• Ability to develop technical documentation, including Work Instructions and Test Cases.
• Experience with dashboard development and monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.

About the role

• 6+ months contract role
• Office locations in Sydney CBD, Melbourne CBD and Canberra CBD (hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office)
