Job description
FinXL IT is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team at a leading insurance organisation. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving end-to-end delivery, collaborating with both technology and operational teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for managing the complete project lifecycle - from analysis and requirements gathering to delivery, testing, and change management. You will ensure that business needs are clearly defined and translated into actionable technical solutions, while working to ensure all stakeholders are aligned throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of projects, including analysis, scope definition, requirements gathering, delivery, testing, and change management
- Work closely with both technology and operational teams to ensure alignment of business goals with technical solutions
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements, ensuring they are clear and actionable
- Collaborate with tech and ops teams to ensure proper design and delivery of solutions
- Drive the testing process, ensuring that solutions are properly tested and meet business requirements
- Support change management activities, helping to implement new processes and systems within the organisation
- Document business processes, workflows, and requirements clearly and concisely
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders and help guide decision-making through data-driven insights
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst with general insurance experience
- Strong expertise in end-to-end delivery, including analysis, requirements gathering, delivery, testing, and change management
- Experience working with both technology and operational teams to deliver projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Experience in facilitating workshops, creating clear documentation, and ensuring alignment of business needs with technical solutions
