Lead/Senior Business Analyst - Guidewire | Insurance | Cloud Migration

• Location: Parramatta / Sydney CBD (Hybrid - min. 10 days/month onsite)
• Contract Start: 1st July or earlier
• Contract Duration: Initial 12 months with potential extensions

About the Role

We're urgently seeking a Lead/Senior Business Analyst to join one of Australia's largest insurance groups. This contract opportunity is perfect for a seasoned BA with deep domain experience in insurance and strong exposure to Guidewire (BillingCentre & PolicyCentre), regulatory projects, and cloud migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across complex transformation projects

• Act as the liaison between business and technical teams to drive alignment and ensure clarity

• Engage with stakeholders to translate regulatory and system migration needs into actionable outcomes

• Support the migration of key systems to the cloud, ensuring business continuity and compliance

• Deliver high-quality artefacts including business requirements, user stories, process flows, and traceability matrices

• Contribute to solution design workshops and testing strategies

• Ensure alignment across teams and support decision-making throughout the delivery lifecycle

Key Requirements

✅ Guidewire BillingCentre - strong functional understanding and implementation experience
✅ Guidewire PolicyCentre - knowledge of policy administration processes
✅ Regulatory project experience - demonstrated success in compliance-driven programs
✅ Cloud migration experience - preferably within large enterprise environments
✅ Insurance industry background
✅ Proven ability to work in complex, multi-vendor environments
✅ Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
✅ Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced setting
