FinXL is seeking a Senior Network DevOps Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Government client on a key infrastructure transformation engagement. FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.

Responsibilities

• Design the process and build the automation of software updates to Cisco and F5 products.

• Provide technical input into low-level designs, implementation plans, and execution of automation tasks.

• Contribute to the design and implementation of the client's automation platform.

• Engage with vendors and partner stakeholders supporting the delivery of key modernisation initiatives.

• Facilitate change controls, scheduling, and communications in accordance with ITIL processes.

• Communicate effectively to provide timeline updates horizontally across the program.

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience with F5 application delivery controllers.

• Strong expertise with Python scripting and a solid understanding of SDLC.

• Deep experience in data centre networks, inclusive of switching, routing, and Cisco ACI.

• Experience with on-prem firewall platforms such as Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto.

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Azure DevOps Services.

• Experience with infrastructure orchestration tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

• Familiarity with ITIL change management processes.
