Job description

  • Location: Canberra ACT , Melbourne VIC, Brisbane QLD, Adelaide SA
  • Initial 12 months contract + 24 months extension options
  • Must have be Australian Citizen with minimum of Baseline Clearance

FinXL is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to lead and support the operations of the team, including monitoring business performance, setting priorities and managing resources and workflow. You will be responsible for driving high-quality delivery, managing complex system requirements, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. This role sits at the intersection of technical strategy and people leadership, ensuring our ICT solutions align with broader business objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage staff performance, health, and wellbeing. Lead coaching, mentoring, and succession planning to build long-term capability.
  • Operations & Strategy: Monitor business performance, set priorities, and manage resources/workflow. Contribute to ICT strategy and workforce planning.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure ICT deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget. Oversee the development and implementation of technical solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and partner with other agencies to influence business outcomes.
  • Financial Management: Manage finances, contracts, procurement, and expenditure within your area of responsibility.
  • Quality & Reporting: Monitor work quality against standards and prepare high-level technical and corporate documentation.

Technical Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in one or more of the following environments:

  • Core Systems: SAP CRM, SAP S/4 HANA, PEGA, M204, or Siebel CRM.
  • Large-Scale Environments: Prior experience within government or a similar large-scale organisation is highly preferred.
  • Business Analysis: Proven ability to document system requirements and identify functional interdependencies/gaps.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Ability to exercise delegations in accordance with established legislation and guidelines.
