Job description
FinXL is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing robust control mechanisms (preventive, detective, and enforcement).
- Defining and operationalizing platform governance policies, embedding compliance into processes.
- Coordinating detailed dataset reviews and classification exercises, ensuring validation against standards.
- Translating review findings and data analysis into actionable and sustainable controls.
- Collaborating with technical teams, business owners, and risk partners to document requirements.
- Creating templates, approaches, and evidence requirements for dataset classification reviews.
Key Skills & Experience
- Expertise in Business Analysis working on data governance, risk and control frameworks, and/or cybersecurity within enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with data platforms and associated tooling for metadata, lineage, and quality management.
- Ability to work across technical and business stakeholders, translating complex requirements.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to data privacy and PII protection.
